CHICKEN SPAGHETTI WITH GARLIC RICE
Singaporean Rice is a delicious Pakistani fusion dish that’s layered with rice, noodles with stir-fried vegetables, spicy chicken curry, and topped with a mayo sauce. It’s basically heaven on a plate.
The origin of this recipe, It’s not from Singapore, in fact, it has nothing to do with Singapore at all. This delicious recipe originated in Karachi, Pakistan, and was popularized as an exotic wedding dish. Don’t you just love how fusion recipes are the best ever? I also love recipes that have a unique origin.
Ingredients:
For the chicken gravy:
Stir-fried vegetables + noodles
Mayo sauce
1. Mayonnaise ½ cup
2. Ketchup 1/3 cup
3. Hot sauce (or chili sauce) 1 tsp
4. Salt 1 pinch
5. Black pepper 1 pinch
Rice:
1. Rice ½ kg
2. Salt 1 tsp
3. Oil 1sp
For Assembling:
In a serving dish, spread a layer of rice on the dish. Add a second layer of stir-fried vegetables with noodles, then a third layer of chicken gravy. Add mayo sauce and fried garlic and green chilies as the top layer.
